As per the trusted reports, Tesla has canceled the highest pricing variant of its flagship sedan named, the Model S Plaid Plus, as mentioned in the tweet by the company’s CEO, Elon Musk on Sunday.
Previously, Tesla and Elon Musk promised the fans to bring out the tri-motor, Plaid Plus version of their latest Model S, which would offer features such as 1,100 horsepower, a fully charged battery of 520 miles of range, and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in less than two seconds.
Musk has a twitter following of 50 million, and there he mentioned that the Plaid+ has been canceled. He further added that the there is no need for it as the Plaid is just so good, which gives 0 to 60 mph under 2 secs, being the quickest car ever made.
As per the trusted reports, in March 2021, Tesla raised the cost of Model S Plaid Plus by USD 10,000, to reach around USD 150,000. The option of ordering the new variant of the existing car was taken down from Tesla’s website in May 2021, as mentioned in a CNET report.As per the trusted sources of information, the already existing car of the company, Model S Plaid, will be costing about USD 119,900, which will feature a battery of 390-mile range, 1020 horsepower, and an acceleration speed of 0 to 60 mph in just two seconds along with the several other features.
