Samsung Fold Devices to have IPX8 Water Resistance Now Onwards

Samsung galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z fold 3 will have water resistance which is the biggest advantage when compared to other Samsung devices. This information was not officially revealed by the company. This information was revealed by Max Weinbach, a freelance writer of android police. Later, it was confirmed by Evan Blass, an American blogger, editor and phone leaker.

Evan Blass, who writes under the pen name evleaks, tweeted the features of the phone along with the image from Samsung showing the phones getting splashed. Slashgear added that the water-resistance does not include dust resistance; this can be a drawback for foldable device. The official information about the water resistance would be a relief for the ones worried about the durability of these devices. It lets the phones fit in better with the rest of  flagships, which have had water resistance for years.

The Samsung Galaxy Z fold3 has a 12 Megapixel camera and a 10-megapixel front camera. The device has a 6.7” internal display and a 1.9” cover display. The other model foldable device Z fold3 has 12 Megapixel rear camera and a 10-megapixel front camera.

Another leak also gives ideas about how the company wants the stylus to be attached to the device. The outside screen on the original Z Flip and Z Flip 5G was tiny, relegating the notifications and clock to a corner of the phone’s cover. Samsung President and Head of Mobile Communications TM Roh praised the foldable devices saying it will enhance durability and provide amazing multi-tasking capabilities for more people around the world. The device will be launched during the  unpacked event.
